Enum NoteExpression

pub enum NoteExpression {
    Volume,
    Pan,
    Tuning,
    Vibrato,
    Expression,
    Brightness,
    Pressure,
}
Expand description

Standard voice-expression units. Values replace the preceding expression; receiver DSP owns application relative to its voice defaults and smoothing.

Variants§

§

Volume

Linear volume multiplier, 0..=4. Zero explicitly mutes the voice. Backends with a narrower range, including CLAP’s positive-only volume, reject unrepresentable values rather than clamp them.

§

Pan

0 left, 0.5 center, 1 right.

§

Tuning

Relative equal-tempered semitones, -120..=120.

§

Vibrato

§

Expression

§

Brightness

§

Pressure

Implementations§

§

impl NoteExpression

pub fn is_valid_value(self, value: f64) -> bool

Standard finite range; vibrato/expression/brightness/pressure use 0..=1.
