API reference / ravet_runtime::tasks::SerialExecutor

Struct SerialExecutor

pub struct SerialExecutor { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Bounded serialized worker. Tasks own their captures; rejected tasks are dropped without execution. Panics are contained, and accepted tasks drain on destruction. Joining may block. Self-teardown detaches the joining handle; the worker retains its receiver and completes safely.

Implementations§

§

impl SerialExecutor

pub fn new(pending_capacity: usize) -> Result<Self>

Zero capacity is rejected. Capacity excludes the currently running task.

pub fn submit( &self, task: impl FnOnce() + Send + 'static, ) -> Result<(), SubmitError>

Nonblocking queue submission. Task destruction can run consumer code.

Trait Implementations§

§

impl Drop for SerialExecutor

§

fn drop(&mut self)

Executes the destructor for this type. Read more
§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more
