Expand description

Complete explicit preparation request. There are no defaults.

Fields§

§target_rate: u32

Engine sample rate in Hz, 1..=768,000.

§conversion: ResponseRateConversion

Rate conversion policy.

§channels: ResponseChannelMap<'a>

Channel mapping.

§trim: ResponseTrim

Trim policy.

§normalization: ResponseNormalization

Normalization policy.

§maximum_taps: usize

Largest accepted prepared length per channel, 1..=262,144.

§maximum_working_bytes: usize

Budget for result, staging and sinc table bytes, 1..=256 MiB. Caller-owned source data and allocator overhead are excluded.

Implementations§

§

impl ImpulseResponseRequest<'_>

pub fn plan( &self, source_rate: u32, source_channels: usize, source_frames: usize, ) -> Result<ImpulseResponsePlan, ImpulseResponseError>

Validate every policy and bound for a source shape and compute exact frame counts and declared bytes, without allocating or reading samples. Data- dependent refusals (nonfinite input, threshold, length after trim, silence) are decided by prepare_impulse_response.
